♡ The Spelling of Love: Part II ♡
She waited anxiously at the table. It was her first time today at this place, she was eager. In her best dress and best smile she remained seated and patiently waited. Her head turned around several times, and then she would calm herself down- in search of the one she waited for. She would hear footsteps- but they would lead to another table.
She fidgeted with her phone a lot. She scrolled through her Instagram feed three times now. And then- she smelt it.
She could feel the sudden excitement in the
air.
After a very long fifteen minutes, that seemed to never end, the waiter finally came in with her dessert. It was booming with the smell of freshness. He served the chocolate cake over her table, and it was perfection- thick dark chocolate frosting blanketed beautifully over the spongy, dense fudge cake. He asked her if she wanted some syrup with that, and she cheerfully nodded- like is that even a question?
Who would say no to that?
He grasped the bottle of chocolate syrup and held it above the slice of heaven. He squeezed the bottle and waved it very slowly, creating swirls and strands- covering the slice with a generous amount of even more chocolate. It was beautiful.
Her eyes beamed with joy as she smiled and
looked at her guilty pleasure. Cause, screw diets right?
"I love it.." she said. But she spelt love as
cake.
